Hauser Jones & Sas is hiring for an Audit Senior in the Bellevue office.

The Audit Senior leads and manages multiple operations of the audit practice area and delivers quality services that increase the firm’s reputation. They are responsible for overseeing internal operating controls, processes, and practices, and the Audit Senior may also recommend changes and enhancements to existing policies and controls to make sure they are current, adequate, functional and utilized in accordance with standards established by the government and the company. The ideal candidate also looks for ways to grow the business and reach new clients. Job Description:

  1. Helps lead the engagement planning process
  2. Performs detailed audit procedures on financial statement account balances, prepares and adjusts work papers from clients’ trial balance
  3. Leads accounting staff, coordinates workflow and advances team-wide performance
  4. Identifies potential management letter comments, identifies business process risks and develops testing methodologies to evaluate the adequacy of controls.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Experienced Tax Associate (Bellevue)

Hauser Jones & Sas is hiring for an Experienced Tax Associate in the Bellevue office.
Our experienced tax associates are responsible for performing tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning services to a variety of clients across many industries under direct supervision. This position provides opportunities for work direction and technical guidance to less experienced staff and client contact to resolve various tax matters, as our tax associates gain experience and expertise.

Job Description:

  1. Prepares federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals, all business types, trusts, estates, and exempt organizations.
  2. Assists with training and coaching of less experienced staff.
  3. Reviews tax work of less experienced staff.
  4. Has increased client contact as relationships are formed with clients. Reviews tax information supplied by clients; follows up with clients to answer questions and request additional information.
  5. Assists with planning and consulting for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations under direct supervision.

Senior Internal Auditor (Bellevue)

This position is full time and can be in office, hybrid, or fully remote. Must have internal audit experience with a CPA firm.

Hours: 8:00 AM -5:00 PM PST (Core Online Team Hours 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM PST)

Tax Processor (Bellevue)

We are hiring a Tax Processor to assit our Tax Team in Bellevue, WA. This position is full time and is an in office position (does not qualify for remote). Must have Tax Processing experience with a CPA firm. Overtime and Saturdays required for tax Individual and Business tax deadlines.

Pay: $20.00 – $27.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and scan client documents
  • Print and assemble client tax returns and other client deliverables
  • Deliver tax returns to clients via DocuSign for e-signature, portal and mail
  • Assist with e-filing tax returns and tracking e-file activity
  • Prepare engagement letters, tax organizers, tax estimate reminder letters and other tax-related client correspondence

Staff Auditor (Bellevue)

Due to the fast growth of our business, Hauser Jones & Sas PLLC is in immediate need of the professional service of a Staff Auditor. Specifically, the Staff Auditor will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Examine and analyze clients’ accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Prepare timely and compliant quarterly and annual tax preparation for clients.
